So the blog has become more of a journal for my thoughts these days. Hope you can make sense out of my ramblings.

She's Famous!!!

Ok, so not really famous, but I can wish. I have recently gotten into consigning some of Lillie's old clothes. Someone might as well get some use out of them and I'm really not planning on providing that someone. The name of the store is Pokka Dots. Of course you've seen one her precious birthday pics in the pink pokka dotted dress. Well, you guessed it! The nice ladies at Pokka Dots picked Lillie to be in their ad in Sunday's paper. Here's the picture they used (because I don't have a picture of the ad).

Birthday

I'm pretty sure Lillie would tell you that she had a great day yesterday. She wore the birthday shirt that I made her, Ms. Sandra made her a strawberry Cinderella cake, and we had a blast with all of her friends at the Dock. She did have 4 accidents, but we're blaming that on all of the excitement of the day. She was sooo cute everytime someone would call to wish her Happy Birthday. Her entire face would light up. By the end of the evening she was just exhausted.

Normal

So I think that things have finally started to settle down and my life might be returning somewhat to normal. I have meds for the anxiety and to help with the horrendous PMS and so far those are working well. Anth is making an effort in the healthy eating department and that helps me to feel better too.
Lillie turns 3 today. I can't believe my baby is officially not a baby anymore. I love this stage in her development right now. She's so much fun. She has started telling Anth and I, "I love you guys!" It's the sweetest thing ever. We got her a bike for her birthday and some other smaller stuff too. She's having a small party at the Dock tonight and a bigger party for family on Saturday at The Little Gym. Here's a pic!

Christmas and New Years
Well we survived both Christmas and Anth's birthday without mom. Anth was sick in bed all day on his birthday which I think probably had a lot to do with the state of his mind but I can completely understand.
Christmas Eve was rough for everyone. More than once we all ended up in tears. Mom was such a planner that she had already bought Christmas gifts for everyone before she died. She even had a list on her work computer that said who they all went to. Mammaw wrapped up all of those gifts and just left the from line blank. I did ok until Lillie opened her gift from Mom that we had talked about. I had to leave the room for a while after that one.
Anth and his aunts also picked out the design for Mom's gravestone that night. I was a little upset that I wasn't included in the process but I'll get over it.
Lillie loved Christmas this year. She even got her pink pony that she asked Santa for. I think her favorite gift of the day was her Cabbage Patch doll though. She carried it around all day and even slept with it.
All in all, I'm glad it's over. Now we can get back to living the rest of our life.
