Dora and Diego at Tweetsie

Well we did end up taking Lillie to Tweetsie to see Dora and Diego and my impatient little fireball even managed to wait 30 minutes in line for them to come on stage so she could get her picture taken with them. She begged to ride the train so we did that first thing. She really liked it until they started shooting the guns. I think it was the noise more than anything else that bothered her. She did ride one of the rides and the chair lift. She also really liked feeding the animals in the Deer Park. We'll definitely go up there again. It's perfect for her size right now, and the lines aren't long at all.

School's Out for Summer

Well another school year has come to a close. This was probably my best year of teaching yet. I had a great group of third graders and they made a lot of progress for the most part. Now it's on to my favorite part of the year, SUMMER!!!

We have already spent a fair amount of time at the pool because it was soooooo hot the last couple of weeks of school. Lillie still loves the water and will even jump in on her own. Everyonce in a while I can get her to swim from the steps to me too. Tomorrow we are going to see Dora and Diego up at Tweetsie with Pappaw. I'm sure I'll take plenty of pictures. I'll try to remember to post them here.
